It is a marvelous journey combination of scenic and cultural walks with the sacred Gosaikunda pond, one of the holiest spots for the Hindu andBuddhist religions. The trek itinerary is ideal for moderate high-altitude novice and family holiday trips because less trek-experienced people can achieve this adventure through the natural walking into the famous Langtang National Park.

The major highlight of this trek offers you an enjoyable and attractive hiking destination, where you will be soaked with awesome views of mountains, rolling hills, and dramatic landscapes, and walking into a pristine forest of tall rhododendron- magnolia-pines with bamboo forest where rare and elusive Red Panda are often sighted during the walk around the natural environment.

The waters of Gosaikunda Lake are believed to have magical healing powers. But to reach Gosainkunda we trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru, and Singgompa-Cholangpati then finally to Gosainkunda.

On the auspicious month of August as per the Hindu calendar, this place is flooded with pilgrims to mark the Jani Purnima Festival (change of holy thread) in the full moon, and a dip in the holy lake where sins of a hundred lifetimes purify you.
