The new bridge-Nayapul is the starting point of the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, for a more customized trek itinerary trekkers can ride upto Hille and hike to Ulleri but better we stay the first day at Tikhedhung about 4 hours trek from Nayapul. On the second day, we trek to Ghorepani. It is quite a long day hike but you’ll enjoy the trek through quaint villages and the unique ethnic local cultures of Magar and Gurung communities; up many stairs, through thick jungles, and over rivers; before ultimately ending up at altitude (3210m) the local village. While you start the trek from Trikhedhunga we ascend 3,300 steps until Ulleri Magar village which rewards us with great views of the Himalayas hiding in the shade of the trees.
From the Ulleri you can see the first mountain views of Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli with the attractive magnificent thick forest of Annapurna Conservation area. We could stop for a lunch break there or trek toward Banthanti. After the wonderful lunch break, continue trekking to Ghorepani 2,850m through dense rhododendron forest and capture the perfect picture of landscapes, if you get the holiday in March to May which is the spring season this trek route will be colorful blooming spring flowers, especially rhododendron in verities colors.
