The Everest Trek 13-day itinerary is designed by an experienced Nepal Spirit Adventure team, this trip is good for novice trekkers who have good health with average physical fitness. This trek is comfortable and fit for all travelers- trekkers who have a dream to reach the world’s peak highest base camp via trekking activities but it is a high-altitude trek that requires physical fitness with hiking and cycling.

Your maximum walking duration is 5-6 hours and your minimum trek length is 3-4 hours approx in a day. Besides, you will frequently be ascending and descending on a graveled trail and encounter people from different backgrounds, ages, and fitness levels do the Everest base camp trek every year. RELIGION & FLORA FAUNA

You will be trekking through beautiful Sagarmatha National Park into the lovely forest of rhododendron, pines, and fir tree lines from the alpine to arctic temperature zone of barren landscapes. On the trek route, most of the villages are inhabited by Sherpa, Tamang, and Tai cast believe in the Buddhist religion where you could explore their culture and custom as it was for many past centuries, interwoven with old Tibetan Buddhism is very incredibly spiritual life in the Khumbu Himalaya region. They do not kill any animal after the Lukla that’s why we recommend vegetarian food would be a good choice along with the Everest Trekking for the best organic and healthy trekkers.

ACCLIMATIZATION DAYS

Acclimatization days are top important for the successful trek, before you reach Everest Base Camp at 5,364m, we highly recommend you better take at least two days as high altitude acclimatization day, 1st at Namche after one and a half-day trek through the beautiful village from Lukla –Phakding, Banker-Jorsalle and the 2nd day will be the best choice “Dingboche” at 4,350m. During both acclimatization days, our EBC Crew will take you approximately a 5,000m hike up and down from where we are staying accommodation level is called mini altitude exercise digest training and naturally, two days will help us to reach Mount Everest Base Camp without any problems.

EBC Trekking foods aren’t included in the package because all the trekkers do have not the same appetite and it will be more freedom to buy trek meals individually would be one of the best environments along the trek. ACCOMMODATION

Simple and basic accommodations are available on Everest Trek except for “Lukla and Namche Bazaar” both place offers fancy hotels. From Lukla to Gorakshep is the last place to make overnight sleep. As per Everest Trek Itineraries inclusive of 10-night comfortable lodes as known as teahouses run by Sherpa families unless people specify a preference for the tent. Most teahouses have a central communal area with a large stove that provides heat and a cozy atmosphere, The bedrooms are unheated and generally have two beds with mattresses, pillows, and a blanket but we highly recommend that you bring a personal sleeping bag (3seasons is normally enough). The lodges-teahouses generally have showers that are powered by gas and they mostly use sit-down flush toilets (some lodges do also have a squat toilet). For your kind information, every teahouse charges you an extra cost for a hot shower.

ROUTE PERMIT

Trekking to Everest Base Camp’s route permit is compulsory for every trekker even for trek guides as well as is called Sagarmatha National Park Fees (Rs. 3,000 per trekker). This permit cost is inclusive entire 13 days Everest Trek package; there are other tourist fees required for Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality that cost NPR 2000 per travel. FOOD & BEVERAGE

Food: As per your 13 days Everest base camp trek all meals aren't inclusive (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) you can eat according to your appetite, for 11-12 days of trekking meals cost you approximately USD 250 -300 USD, you could able to get all the place s a hygienic best quality food and can choose from the menu, the food menu of all teahouse is a more or less similar item like MOMO of dumplings, noodles, pasta, potatoes, soup, Nepalese dish DAL BHAT is a very popular and fresh dishes. Dal Bhat is a food platter of steamed rice served with lentil soup, greens fresh seasonable vegetables. Eating carbohydrate-heavy meals will provide enough energy for a long trek. Generally, you will take food from these local lodges/tea houses as per the choices on the menu. Breakfast and dinner eat at the same tea house/lodge while lunch would be on the trail. Some lodge serves western foods such as pizza, pasta, and French fries.

Beverage: Soft drinks alcoholic-noon alcoholic such as tea, coffee, mineral water, beer, Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, snacks chocolate, biscuit apple pie available in most of the Tea Houses' restaurants. Remember that your own beverage will extra cost, it is not included in the trek package.

HOW WE CAN START THIS ADVENTURE

Flying or overland long way journey to Kathmandu, you can explore the world heritage site and colorful ethnic market of Kathmandu then take an exciting short mountain flight to Lukla 2,840m and start the trek to the famous Namche Bazaar with wonderful views of snowcapped peaks and the towards scenic spiritual Tengboche Monastery surrounded with mountains and green tree liens. Until this high altitude zone, every trekker feels happy and healthy, and comfortable walking.

The walk continues to reach our destination at Everest Base Camp with acclimatization days in between the walking days, before heading to a higher elevation. At base camp standing beneath the world's highest peaks certainly make you feel high with excitement, the adventure continues with a climb of Kalapathar the highest spot of the adventure at 5,545 meters offering a superb panorama of mountains with Mt. BEST TIME TO VISIT

The Himalayan country of Nepal leads 4 seasons: Spring-March to May, Autumn- from September/October to December, Summer- from June to August, and Winter- from December last to February. Spring and autumn are the two best seasons to plan the Everest base camp trek. These two seasons are supportive in terms of weather, climate, visibility, and trail condition. Snowfall in the winter, and rain during the monsoon time however travelers can do this trek in four-season but in the winter season must prepare cold gear and summer rain equipment, Everest trekking route lodge will be open for all the seasons years.

Welcome to Nepal! It will be our great pleasure to make sure that you are picked up by a representative of Nepal Spirit Adventure upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport. After completing the formalities with customs (obtaining or showing your visa) and retrieving your bags/luggage all you will have to do is to look out for our representative at arrivals who will be holding a Nepal Spirit Adventure display board with your name on it. Transfer to your hotel and our manager will brief you about the trip details and you can take a rest, go for a wander into the city or visit our office- it all depends on how you feel, your interests and what time you arrive in Kathmandu.

Your trek guide will pick up you at the hotel, transfer you to the domestic Airport for the Trans Himalayan flight, and dramatic landing on the hillside at Lukla: gateway to the Khumbu/Everest region. Meet local porters and walk downhill to the Sherpa settlement of Cheung. The trail then follows the side of the Dudh Koshi Valley before ascending to Ghat (2530m). Another gentle hour leads up to Phakding.

The trail meanders through pine forest, along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges via the Sherpa villages of Benkar, Chumoa, Monjo, and Jorsale: entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park and permit checkpoint; with tranquil views of glistening Thamserku (6,618m/21,714m). The trail continues along the riverbed to the confluence of the Bhote and Dudh Koshi Rivers. It then climbs steadily, crossing the high Tenzing- Hilary suspension bridge: with inspiring glimpses of Everest and the Nuptse – Lhotse ridge. A final three-hour ascent through the pine forest leads to the prosperous trading and administrative town of Namche Bazaar.

A day for rest at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization is an ideal place to spend a rest day for acclimatization to the high altitude before heading off towards Tyangboche. For acclimatization, you walk up to Khumjung where you can visit a monastery. You can also enjoy the wonderful views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawoche, and Kwangde, and so on. Or you can take an hour's walk up to Syangboche (3800m.) where Everest View Hotel is situated above Namche for an outstanding view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kusum Kangaru walk downhill back to Namche Bazzar overnight in lodge.

The trail climbs up from the town and then contours around the hillside, offering great views including Everest and Khumjung. Look out for spotted deer, Himalayan tahrs, and birds – including the colorful (male) Danphe pheasant (Nepal’s national bird). The trail rises to Sanasa where the routes to Gokyo and Everest BC fork. The trail to the right then descends to cross the Dudh Koshi (past water-driven prayer wheels) on a suspension bridge near PhunkiThenga (3,250m/10,663ft), the lowest point north of Namche Bazaar. It then enters the ImjaKhola Valley and rises steeply, through dwarf conifers and rhododendron forest, for a two-hour pull, to the hilltop village of Tengboche. Their famous Gompa is set against the backdrop of AmaDablam, Nuptse, Everest, Kangtega, and other peaks. At full moon, in October/November they hold the colorful Mani Rimdu festival which includes masked dancing and Tibetan Opera in the monastery courtyard. Visit the monastery during the afternoon.

Today’s trail descends to Debuche: a scattered stone village with a nunnery, chortens, and a long mani wall. Cross the suspension bridge over the ImjaKhola and gradually ascend to Pangboche with views of towering AmaDablam (6,856m/22,495ft perhaps the most beautiful mountain in the Everest region). The trail then follows the river fairly closely as it gradually rises to its confluence with the LobucheKhola and continues up to Dingboche: the last year-round Sherpa settlement in the region. Different views of AmaDablam rise above the terraced fields of barley, buckwheat, and potatoes. The fields are walled to protect crops from icy winds and animals during the short growing season.

This is another scheduled rest day on the trek and will assist your fitness and oxygen intake at the higher altitudes to follow. An enjoyable 3-4 hrs sidewalk, 400m climb to NangkartshangGompa, on the ridge north of Dingboche village can be the best choice. This vantage point offers Mt. Makalu (8,463m) the fifth highest mountain in the world to the east and an awesome view of Mt. AmaDablam and the valley floor. If you have more energy, continue to the Nangkartshang Hill summit (5090m) for additional adventure and thrill. Return from the rarefied air to Dingboche for the night.

The trail climbs to a ridge providing towering views of Taboche Peak and Cholatse and continues through Yak pastures before crossing a wooden bridge over a roaring stream to Duglha (4,620m/15,158ft). The trail then ascends steeply for an hour, up the gravely terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. On the summit is a large group of stone-pile memorials to lost Sherpas and climbers. It also affords great border views including Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Pumori. Everest is hidden behind the towering wall of Nuptse and Lhotse. Follow the valley upstream for about an hour to Lobuche.

A long but rewarding day Follow the windblown and rocky path along the barren moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to the last village at Gorakshep. After an early lunch, set out on the faint trail to the world’s highest Base Camp, on the Khumbu Glacier: opposite the dreaded icefall – the most dangerous section of an Everest ascent. In April/May the trail is busy with porters carrying in supplies and the site is a riot of colorful tents perched on the dirty ice. For the rest of the year, it is a bleak and lonely place set below the impressive ice walls (and avalanches) of the MahalangurHimal along the Tibetan border. From west to east, the main peaks are Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Nuptse. Everest and the Cwm are hidden behind buttresses. Trek back to Gorakshep for the night at Lodge.

A very early morning climb of 2-3 hours up Kala Patthar, behind the village, offers a sunrise awakening of the Himalayan chain. First Everest (8,848m/29,028ft), then its surrounding vassals: Pumori (7,145m/23,443ft), Lingtren (6,697m/21, 973ft), Khumbutse (6,623m/21,730ft), Changtse (7,550m/24,772ft), Lhotse (8,516m/27,941ft) and Nuptse (7,861m/25,792ft). Plus Cho Oyo (8,201m/26,907ft) in the west and AmaDablam to the south: Amidst countless other peaks that crowd the horizon in all directions. Drop back to Gorakshep for breakfast, and then retrace your steps down to Lobuche. Return to the snout of the Khumbu glacier, dropping down the moraine and continuing on to the village of Pheriche for a lower and warmer night.

Easy trek back downhill village air getting steadily richer, encouragement those great memories fantastic view of Tawache, Ama Dablam and Lhotse. Inside the Rhododendron forest, plenty of wildlife such as Musk deer, Himalayan Griffons, wild goat-“Thar” and May others can be seen on the trail overnight in a guest house.

On the last day of your trekking, leaving the incredible mountain scenery behind leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla enjoying the green valley. The trek is pleasant, except for a few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote-Koshi River crossing it three times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring you to Lukla and this evening is for enjoying a last celebratory dinner with your team.
