About 2 Night 3 Days Chitwan National Park Tour

Jungle Safari in Chitwan National Park is located mid-southern belt of Terai known as the flatland of Nepal Himalaya, where one can explore various jungle activities to observe the wild animals and birdlife in Asia's best number of parks. Chitwan National Park with an area of 932 sq. km, is one of the oldest, most popular National Parks in Nepal, the park was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1984.

Chitwan jungle safari can be reached by regular overland tourist bus service from Kathmandu or from Pokhara even by private vehicle, and by air, about 20 minutes flight to Megauli or Bharatpur, and It may also be reached by ultimate route with a surge of adrenaline and scenic floats Rafting on Trisuli River.

Chitwan National Park covers a pristine area with a unique ecosystem of significant value to the world which contains the Churia hills, ox-bow lakes, and flood plains of the rivers Rapti, Reu, and Narayani.

Chitwan National Park has 43 species of mammals with the famous endangered and elusive "Royal Bengal Tiger".Other animals found in the park include sambars, chital (spotted deer) barking deer, sloth bear, palm civets, languor, and rhesus monkeys.

The park is home to the one-horned Indian Rhinoceros, and freshwater Gharial crocodile along with many other common species such as gaur (Asian bison) wild elephants, four-horned antelopes, striped hyenas, pangolins, Gangetic dolphins,  monitor lizards, and pythons. The park is also famous for over 800 species of birds, among the endangered birds Bengal Florican, the Giant Hornbill, the Lesser Florican, the Black Stork, and the White Stork.

Common birds seen in the park include Peafowl, Red Jungle fowl, different species of Egrets, Herons, Kingfishers, Flycatchers, and Woodpeckers, and the best time for bird watching is around March and December. Here 45 species of amphibians and reptiles have been recorded in the park, some of which are the Marsh mugger Crocodile, cobras Green Pit Viper, and various species of frogs and tortoises. The Chitwan National Park has many jungle lodges and resorts with tented camps outside the buffer zone of the park premises.

Arriving in Chitwan- after 6 hours Drive from Kathmandu or 5 hours from Pokhara, you will arrive at our hotel at about 1:30 to 2:00 pm. It would be a good time to have some meal then ready for the village tour and Visiting Elephant stable. Of all the animals, elephants are probably the most graceful. Our naturalists will take you to show Elephant Stable. They will explain the nature and habits of elephants. The unique Center was established in 1985 for the captive breeding of domesticated elephants trapping for domestication. Dinner & Cultural Program: In Chitwan, there are Tharu social groups, which they show their unique performance. In the evening before dinner tharu cultural dance performances used to held. Along this performance, you will be holding drinks and roasted meats to make you more entertainer.

Wake up call, take breakfast then ready for day activities: Canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for Bird Watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. + Jungle Walk + on the way back one can enjoy the elephant bathing View. Lunch then Elephant Safari. An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild bore, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Major Attractions in Chitwan National Park Tour:

ELEPHANT SAFARI
we can travel through open grassland and dense forest on elephant back in search of rare games; we can spot one-horned rhino, various species of deer, wild boar, sloth bear, leopard, bison, and the big one, the Royal Bengal tiger, etc.

CANOE RIDES
A traditional dugout takes us on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view birds, crocodiles, and the animals of the river, especially from October through to mid-March.

NATURE WALKING
Well-trained naturalists/ecologists take us to prime spots to view deer, rhinos, sloth bears, and other wildlife, and no doubt the detailed explanation from the experienced guide on wildlife and jungle will help to widen our knowledge and enjoy our trip.

We will have a look at a melodious tribal dance performed by Tharu men with the rhythms of drums and with clashing of a stick that embodies and projects how to drive away Rhino and other wild animals from the human habitat, especially after dinner at the hotel /lodge/tented camp, we will watch Tharu stick dance.
