About Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour - 1 Day

Everest Base Camp is located at an altitude of 5,364 meters (18,193 feet) and is a well-known base camp situated in Nepal. If you have ever thought about visiting Everest Base Camp by helicopter flight in Nepal, you are warmly welcome to join Nepal Spirit Adventure (NSA) for a 1 Day thrilling Helicopter Tour to Everest Base Camp.

The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour, also known as the Everest Heli-tour in Nepal, allows you to enjoy the breathtaking view of Mount Everest (8,848 meters) and offers a swift glimpse of the Everest region Himalayas. The tour includes a landing at Everest Base Camp (EBC) or Kalapatthar, providing a comfortable way to explore the magnificent mountain views within a day.

This helicopter tour is especially suitable for travelers who have limited time in Nepal and cannot dedicate two weeks to trekking. It is also ideal for physically disabled travelers who have the desire to explore the world's tallest peak within a day. The tour offers a four-hour helicopter flight from Kathmandu, allowing you to experience fantastic mountain views.

The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour starts from Kathmandu and flies east towards Everest Base Camp, passing beautiful Sherpa villages and serving as the gateway to Everest. During the flight, you can enjoy eagle-eye views of the Kathmandu Valley's heritage sites. As the flight progresses, snowcapped peaks begin to appear, and the helicopter lands at Lukla airport for refueling, providing a glimpse of the picturesque Lukla villages.

After refueling in Lukla, the flight continues towards Everest Base Camp, passing notable landmarks such as Tengboche, Dingboche, and Gorakshep. Finally, the helicopter lands at Everest Base Camp, where you can witness the world's highest peak right in front of your eyes. Other peaks such as Amma Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, and the Khumbu glacier can also be seen from the base camp.

Due to altitude concerns, the landing time at Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar is limited to a maximum of five minutes. However, during this time, you can enjoy the 360° views of Mount Everest and take beautiful pictures to commemorate your journey. The helicopter then takes you back to Syangboche (Everest View Hotel) for tea/coffee or breakfast, where you can admire the stunning mountain vista and get an excellent view of Mount Everest.

Finally, you fly back to Lukla for refueling before returning to Kathmandu, concluding your life experience of the Everest Base Camp Tour by helicopter flight.

The entire Everest Helicopter Tour takes approximately four hours, including the day tour journey from Kathmandu to Lukla, Tengboche, Gorakshep, Everest Base Camp/Kalapatthar, Syangboche, Lukla, and back to Kathmandu.

The helicopter flight capacity for this tour is a maximum of five passengers and one captain, with a weight limit of 500kg. If there are 4-5 passengers, two shuttle flights may be required from Pheriche or Everest View Hotel, splitting the body weight (approximately 250kg on average). The helicopter tour with a landing at Everest Base Camp is a thrilling and exciting lifetime experience in Nepal, offering the front face view of Mount Everest and other Himalayan peaks from the top of Kalapatthar, with the best cost guaranteed.

To ensure a satisfactory experience, Nepal Spirit Adventure uses high-quality brand helicopters and experienced pilots who have been flying for a long period of time.
