On arrival in Kathmandu international airport received by Nepal Spirit guide or staff with a transfer to respective hotels downtown in the hub of Kathmandu city, after checking in and refreshment we provide a briefing about the trek details and guide introduction. Overnight in the hotel.

Starting Jiri to Everest base camp trekking, with an interesting overland drive to Jiri and beyond to Shivalaya after passing many villages and towns, on the foothills of the Himalaya through Dhulkhel and Checkout. On reaching Jiri is known as the Switzerland of Nepal due to its mild alpine climate and amazing sceneries, from Jiri drive, continues heading east on the winding dirt road to Shivalaya village for an overnight stop.

From Shivalaya first day walk starts through farm villages with a few short ups and downhill to a forested area, as the walk progress climbing over Deurali ridge and descend to coming across a large Buddhist Stupa near Bhandar from here a short distance walk brings at the overnight stop in Bhandar also known as Chyangma village.

Morning walk on winding a path through farm villages to reach Kenja village at 1,634m, Kenja a nice village with, warm climate beneath the high hills of Lamjura and Pikey danda with views of Numbur peaks. From Kenja, a steep climb to Sete village for an overnight stop, as the air gets cooler around here located on route to Lamjura and Junbesi

Morning walks heading higher towards Lamjura-la pass with a climb through rhododendron, pines, and oak trees forest, as the trail leads past the scattered small farm, and then reach at Lamjura pass with a big stupa and few lodges, after a short break a long descend into forested to Toctoc, and then continue walking on a wide trail to reach Junbesi for an overnight stop. Junbesi a nice large Sherpa village with an interesting old monastery and high school built by Sir Edmund Hillary Trust.

After a wonderful stop, the morning walk leads on a winding path with the first glimpse of Mt. Everest and other adjoining peaks of the Khumbu area, walk downhill to a river, crossing the bridge with a short climb to Ringmo village for the lunch break. After Ringmo, a gradual climb into the forested area of pines and rhododendron trees to reach Trakshindu hilltop and a pass at the height of 3,070m, the top marked with Mani Stupa known as chortens offering great views of Number, Kusum Kanguru, Thamersarkhu, and Kantega peaks towards North.

From here a long descend to reach Nunthala through Takshindo village with an old monastery, continue downhill into the forest as the walk reaches the outskirts of Nunthala village, from here a short gentle walk brings to Nunthala also called Manidingma, a large hill village with Rai and Sherpa community.

From here onwards temperature gets much cooler getting close to Khumbu and Everest region, morning walk begins with downhill to a bridge over Dudh Kosi River, crossing the river and then uphill to Jubing village, from here an hour more climb to Kharikhola, at the height of 2,250 meters, this is a large village of Sherpa and Magar tribe, from here another hour of steep climb brings at Bupsa Danda ridge for the overnight stop.

After Bupsa walk climbs through mix forested area with much bird life of pheasant and magpie. Walk carries on climbing above Kharte Dande pass at 3,880m high, leading higher above Dudh Kosi River to reach at Puiyan village for lunch a farm settlement with many tea-houses and lodge located in the middle of a forest. After lunch at Puiyan walk on a pleasant path with views of Lukla town and airstrip, the last leg leads of the walk descending to Surkhe village for an overnight stop, Surkhe located just an hour below Lukla.

From Surkhe onwards round high Khumbu area, morning walk on undulating trail reaching Choplung village, where a path from Lukla joins, here onwards on a main and popular route to Everest base camp, after being on the quiet Solu area for several days. From here onwards meeting trekkers, porters, and Yaks, the walk follows through many small villages and farmlands with great scenery and then reaching at Phakding for an overnight stop located near Dudh Kosi (river).

The morning walk continues following the river upstream most of the way, crossing few bridges over the Dudh Kosi River and villages of Bhenkar and Monjo to reach Sagarmatha National Park entrance, from here leading to Jorsalle village for lunch, and then walk for few hours to the last bridge leading with a steep uphill climb for few hours to Namche Bazaar, Namche with many facilities good stores, shops, restaurant, pubs, cyber café, post office and banks.

A perfect spot for a rest day and acclimatization before heading higher area, at Namche one can relax or take a short hike to Everest View Hotel which takes almost 2 hours or walk up to the top of Namche for better views of Everest, Amadablam, and adjoining peaks, visit of the interesting museum.

From Namche morning walk leads up for 30 mins to the ridge with an aerial view of Namche Bazaar and overlooking beautiful towering peaks, walk is easier on the gradual winding scenic path, then heading downhill to Imjatse river at Phunge-Tenga for lunch, after a break here walking uphill through quaint woodlands of rhododendron, pines, firs trees with marvelous mountain views the climb after few hours reach a beautiful spot of Thyangboche with its famous Buddhist monastery with a magnificent panorama of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Kangtenga, Thamasarku, Kwande and majestic peak of Amadablam.

Morning views of Everest and magnificent Ama-Dablam, walk leads downhill for few hours to the bridge over Imjatse River, after the bridge walking on the open country where the tree lines disappear only for few sparse vegetation and juniper bushes, walking on the gentle uphill for a while to reach at Pangboche village at 3,900 meters, the last permanent village before Dingboche and beyond, from here a slow climb to Somara for lunch and continue walking on the nice terrain with the last climb to Dingboche village for an overnight stop, located in the Imjatse valley with a picturesque panorama of snow-capped mountains including North Face of Ama-Dablam.

After a pleasant overnight at Dingboche, morning walk leads uphill for an hour commanding excellent views, and then on the gentle track with slow up most of the way to Thugla for lunch where the Khumbu glacier ends in a raging river and the route from Pheriche meets, after a fine break here a steep up for an hour to Thulga pass where there are memorials of climbers died on mountaineering expeditions to Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and other high mountains. From here a nice pleasant walk brings to Lobuche for an overnight stop.

Today heading towards our main destination of this fantastic adventure to Everest Base Camp, starting with a gentle uphill walk for few hours, and then a short steep climb near to Gorakshep walking on a glacier, moraine to reach Gorakshep with few lodges, located beneath Mt. Pumori and Kalapathar as the walk continues towards the east for few hours to Everest Base Camp overlooking Khumbu glacier and Khumbu Ice Fall. After a great time and feeling high beneath the world highest mountain retrace the journey back to Gorakshep for an overnight halt.

Early morning hike to the top of Kalapathar at 5,545 meters, the highest point of this adventure as the walk leads up for few hours offering tremendous views of surrounding snow-capped mountains as far to the horizon including Mt. Everest at close distance and beneath the towering lofty peak of Pumori. After a great time return to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue to walk to Pheriche via Thugla.

Return journey easier on losing altitude every few hours, walking downhill with few short ups to Pangboche and then to the bridge before a steep 2 hours climb back to Tengboche through lovely forest, from here descend to Imjatse river and then a steep climb for an hour to Sanasa with a gradual path with short ups and downs to Namche Bazaar for an overnight stop.

Morning walks on the best pleasant path most of the way reaching at Phakding from here retracing the walk back to Lukla with the last climb for an hour, on reaching Lukla celebration with fellow trekkers and staff.

From Lukla morning scenic flight back to Kathmandu with fantastic views of mountains from the plane on landing at Kathmandu airport, our staff transfers you back to the hotel around the Thamel area with the rest of the day free at leisure.
