About Manaslu Expedition

Mt. Manaslu is one of the most beautiful mountains and it is situated in the central region of Nepal in the Gorkha massif is the eighth-highest mountain in the world and stands at 8163m. The name Mount Manaslu was derived from the Sanskrit word “Maanas” “Soul” or “Intellect” and can be roughly translated as Mountain of the Spirit. It was an all-female Japanese expedition that successfully ascended to the summit in 1953 thereby becoming the first woman to climb as an 8000-meter peak and it is still considered as a Japanese peak by many people.

There are many routes to Mt. Manaslu mountaineering as the long ride to Manaslu Base camp and valley glacier offer the possibility to approach from different directions, but the south face is considered to be the most difficult. Our experienced team of caravan route to this mountain begins from Gorkha to Samagaon and returns via the Larky pass trekking to the Annapurna classic route, making the adventure expedition one of the lifetime memorable for Mt. Manaslu climbing. Since the Mount Manaslu expedition was opened various successfully summited this mountain.
