We can start and end the trek from Pokhara, a famous and popular tourist destination in all Himalayas, located in a warm semi-tropic climate yet close to the high snow mountains of Annapurna with its pristine Phewa and Begnas Lakes. Nowhere in the world, you can find such a dramatic change in landscapes and temperatures on daily walks around Annapurna Himalaya. From Pokhara, you need to take a road drive of about 42km (approximately 2 hours drive) to begin the trip from Birethanti/ Nayapul. We can find two routes to complete this adventure: one trail goes Hille-Tikhedhunga-Ullerei, and another from the right way to Shyauli bazaar-Ghandruk village from Birethanti.

Yes, this trek is very popular in Nepal Annapurna Himalaya, it requires a short holiday and easy classical walking and is famous for sunrise from Ponn Hill, the beautiful mountain vista, and the rich flora, and fauna entire Annapurna conservation area as well as you can explore the real culture and prime hospitality by Magar and Gurung community. This trekking trail is best for novice travelers. and not too far from Pokhara.

During the trip, your walk follows high hills filled with a lovely forest of rhododendrons and pine trees, wherein spring and summer turn the area into a natural magic garden when flowers are in full bloom. After trekking past Tirkhedhunga-Hille-Ulleri then reaching Ghorepani for the hike to the famous Poon Hill for sunrise views over an array of peaks.

Poon Hill is the highest spot of this trip where you will be standing at 3,210m with stunning sunrise views and mountains, our pleasant trek leads into the rhododendron forest to Ghandrung offer a beautiful mountain view of Himchuli and, fishtail this village is an inhabitant by Gurung majorities and other mix culture combination together.

On arrival at Kathmandu international airport received by Nepal Spirit Adventure's airport representative then transfer to your hotel downtown in the hub of Kathmandu city, after checking in hotel and refreshments as per your time of arrival, leisure moment to look up tourist redden Thamel meet trek crew, trek guide, equipment, and trip details overnight in hotel.

Morning taking a tourist coach or a private vehicle (depending upon group size) drive leads on the foothills of high Himalayan Mountains and rolling green hills, passing through many farm villages and towns to reach a famous and popular touristic spot in Pokhara. on the laps of Annapurna's massive mountain range where it reflects on the serene Phewa Lake. Poon Hill Sunrise Trek starts with a few hour's drive to Nayapul by private vehicle unto Bherethati by the river Modi, from here walk begins through nice villages coming across trekkers, mule, and donkey trains, our route leads to farm areas and villages, waterfalls then reaching at Tirkehdhunga for an overnight stop in the comfort of a nice cozy lodge after a good day walks of few hours.

The morning starts with a steep uphill climb on stone steps for an hour or more to reach on top Ulleri village, moderate size village with houses in traditional Nepalese style of slated roofs from here walk leads with a gradual slow climb into enchanting cool rhododendron and pine-forested area to reach Ghorepani village, located on a ridge surrounded with beautiful rhododendron trees. This village is inhabited mostly by Poon people of the Magar tribe and is famous for the Poon Hill view top which is an hour's climb.

After a lovely morning with views of Annapurna South-Hiu Chuli and Machhapuchare peaks, easy downhill walks to Ghandruk through an enchanting forest of rhododendron-oaks-magnolia and pine trees. On reaching one of the largest Gurung villages at Ghandruk transfer into a nice lodge with an afternoon free to wander around this lovely village and its museum of Gurung history and culture.

After breakfast in Ghandruk, the trail continues to descend steeply until you get to Syauli Bazar through amazing hillside landscapes, forests, and terraced rice fields. Your trek will end at Nayapul where you'll be transferred to your hotel in Pokhara. Even from this urban environment, you'll be rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, the peaks of Annapurna, and others.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, settle in your hotel and enjoy the afternoon and evening on your own. This relaxed lakeside town is the gateway to the Himalayas, so there are plenty of cool cafés, restaurants, funky shops, and yoga studios that cater to ex-pats and adventure travelers.

    AIRPORT ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

    On arrival in Nepal at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, our airport representative will receive you with a warm welcome with garland and then transfer you to your respective hotel. Afternoon or evening time we will review and discuss much information regarding your trip itinerary and include/exclude services as per the trip itinerary chosen, at the same time introduce your guide who will help you with the final preparation for your trek.

    IN CITY HOTEL

    We provide tourist standard hotels in Kathmandu, and Pokhara with accommodation based on a twin-sharing basis with breakfast. If you are trekking on a group joining basis, you will share a room with someone of the same gender from your group. If you prefer a single room supplement in Kathmandu and on-route trekking, you can request the single supplement (which will be an extra cost besides the trip price stated). We can also help you to book at different deluxe star category hotels on request for more details and information please feel free to contact us.

    TREKKING ACCOMMODATION

    We provide accommodation in tea houses (mountain lodges). A Tea House is a combination of a guest house, restaurant, and social hang-out. The rooms are with twin beds and little additional furniture like small tables or chairs. Blankets are generally provided (we recommend that you carry your own sleeping bags). Most bathrooms are common with squatting (Asian) toilets or Western comfort with sitting toilets. Most Tea Houses/lodges have running water facilities. Most of the lodges have hot water for showers but with an extra charge for using hot showers.

    TREKKING MEALS

    During the trekking session, full board meals are included (breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as tea or coffee provided). We provide food from these local lodges/tea houses as per the choices on the menu. Breakfast and dinner are provided at the same tea house/lodge while lunch would be on the trail. Every Tea House serves the traditional Nepali meal Dal Bhat (rice and lentils), as well as a variety of different food items, such as rice, seasonable vegetables, noodles, potatoes, and soups. Some lodge serves Western foods such as pizza, pasta, and French fries. Soft drinks, snacks, and beer are available in most Tea Houses restaurants. A variety of cereals, bread, and egg dishes are generally available for breakfast.

    HEALTH & FITNESS REQUIRED

    Health & physical fitness is the most important part of travel and participating in trek and hiking. If you do not have previous trekking experience as required, you can start with a morning walking exercise or cycling for weeks or months before/after booking the trip with us, if you have previous trekking and climbing experience it will add a plus point to the trek chosen, most of the trek is non-technical effort walks.

    The highest height gain on this trip is at 3,210m above sea level. The walk involves lots of ups and down, walking through local villages, farmlands, terraces, and riverside as long as you have energy walking for 4- 6 hours a day, and if you are qualified for the trek but still require moderate health and fitness. We strongly advise travelers to consult their medical doctor before traveling and do a regular check-up and hand the report to us while booking a trip with us.

    OUR EXPERIENCED TREK GUIDES & STAFF WITH SAFETY

    Nepal mountainous country walk takes you to a remote region, it is necessary that you are accompanied by experienced and qualified guides and leaders for a safe journey and making the trip a success. We at Nepal Spirit Adventure employ native trekking guides and porters who are trained and qualified for this type of trip and have worked with us for a long time.

    Our guide provides a lot of local information and offers you advice on how to use your free time and by coordinating day-to-day events of the tour, although (sometimes) he might need you to understand that if things do not go according to our plan set. Our trek guides are fully trained and licensed by Nepal Government, and certified by TAAN and Nepal Mountaineering Association.

    All our trekking and climbing guides are well qualified and highly experienced with 9- 10 years on this job. We provide training for our staff yearly on medical and climbing, with their efficiency, and cheerful attitude, providing help, information and the needs of the guests of nationalities.

    Assuring that all our trips are well managed by the expert team of tourism professionals all our guides have a good knowledge regarding the culture and customs of the routes on trekking and tours, share experiences and cultural insights of the country that’s missed out in travel guide books.

    During your time with us, you will have time to learn Nepali phrases and other cultural aspects during the journey. As we organize varied treks in Nepal Himalaya, on group trekking we provide a trek leader with an assistance leader on each trekking depending upon the size of the groups.

    This ensures safe travel with us as our guide/assistance guides get any health medical problem, we still have other main guides and leaders to run the trip smoothly as per our standard itinerary. To make the trip enjoyable and pleasant we provide one guide to support and carry your bags among two people with one Sherpa helper in certain conditions.

    ELECTRONIC ITEM & RE-CHARGING BATTERIES SYSTEM

    We can recharge your batteries, and devices with electricity, or solar power sources. In Nepal, 220 240 volts 50 MHZ (50 Cycles per Second) power is supplied. Just need to have a plug adaptor in case of socket fitting, which you can buy in Kathmandu before the trip since the plugs in Nepal might be different. You might have to pay a small amount of fee/hour for using recharging facilities.

    GROUP SIZE

    We organize any route of Nepal trek with a fixed departure basis or private trip, the minimum group size would be two and the maximum group size is ten or more on request. We can also organize a private trip for a solo person with a single supplement cost. Else, join our estimated group departure dates available online market or ask us for your personal suitable flexible dates, we will open group dates on the same date.
