Short Itinerary

Extreme Motorbike Tour in Manang Itinerary

Start Point:Kathmandu
End Point:Kathmandu
Day01

Arrival in Kathmandu ( 1324m ), Transfer to the hotel

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative from Nepal Spirit Adventure will welcome you and assist with your transfer to your hotel in downtown Kathmandu. After checking in and enjoying some refreshments, you will receive a detailed briefing about the trip. If you do not have motorcycle riding gear, you will have the opportunity to purchase it either in Kathmandu.

Day02

Kathmandu to Besisahar ( 760m )

Kick off your adventure with an early morning ride from Kathmandu along the scenic Prithvi Highway toward Besisahar. The journey covers around 175 km and takes 6 to 8 hours, mostly on smooth, paved roads that wind through lush hillsides and river valleys. Along the way, you can stop for lunch or a short break at places like Mugling or the charming hilltop town of Bandipur. Once you reach Besisahar, settle in for the night and get ready for the off-road ride that begins the next day.

Day03

Besisahar to Chame ( 2670m )

Today marks the start of your off-road adventure. Leaving Besisahar, you’ll begin a gradual but challenging 65 km ascent to Chame, the administrative center of the Manang district. The ride takes around 6 to 8 hours, as the trail winds through beautiful villages like Syange, Jagat, Tal, and Dharapani. Expect narrow cliffside roads, stunning waterfalls, and thrilling suspension bridge crossings. You’ll gain significant altitude, so take it slow and enjoy the raw beauty of the Marsyangdi River valley. Overnight stay in Chame.

Day04

Chame to Manang ( 3519m )

The road from Chame to Manang offers some of the most stunning scenery of the entire trip. Covering about 60 km, the route passes through Dhukur Pokhari, the village of Pisang, and the small mountain airstrip at Humde. Make sure to stop at the famous Paungda Danda rock face for photos, and if time allows, take a short detour to Upper Pisang for breathtaking views of Annapurna II. The road is rough but manageable, and by late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Manang, a beautiful village nestled in the high Himalayas at 3,540 meters.

Day05

Manang Acclimatization Day

Day06

Manang to Chame

Begin your return journey with a descent back to Chame. Although you’ll be retracing your route, the ride feels fresh with new perspectives on the landscape. Take your time to stop again in Pisang or Humde for photos and short breaks. The downhill terrain can still be rough in places, so ride carefully. Expect to reach Chame in about 5 to 6 hours, where you’ll spend the night.

Day07

Chame to Besisahar

Continue your descent from Chame back to Besisahar. The 65 km ride takes most of the day due to the rugged terrain — expect narrow trails, rocky sections, and muddy patches, especially if it has rained recently. Once you reach Besisahar, enjoy being back at a lower altitude and on smoother roads. You can relax for the evening, clean your gear, or celebrate the successful off-road leg of your journey.

Day08

Besisahar to Kathmandu

Wrap up your adventure with a return ride to Kathmandu, once again following the Prithvi Highway. The 175 km trip takes around 6 to 8 hours. Along the way, consider stopping at Kurintar for a cable car ride to Manakamana Temple or have a relaxing lunch at one of the riverside restaurants. Expect to arrive back in Kathmandu by late afternoon or evening, completing a memorable week of riding through the heart of the Annapurna region.
