Trip Introduction
Everest base camp trekking
offers an ultimate experience with wonderful mountain panoramas, the world’s highest mountain peak, and is simply one of the most supremely beautiful and remote parts of the world. We offer a flexible Everest base camp trek itinerary utilizing lodges to maximize your comfort and exposure to the lives of the Sherpa people.

After exploring Kathmandu’s world heritage site, bazaars, Buddhist monasteries, Hindu shrines and restaurants, we take you on an exciting mountain flight to Lukla. From Lukla you will start your trek alongside the Dudhkosi River. This length of the trek is dense with delightful Sherpa villages and surrounded by spectacularly lush valleys, the snowy peaks of Kusum Kanguru and Thamserku. By the end of the day, you will cross several high suspension bridges and take an ascent to Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Khumbu Sherpas.

On the Everest trek, Namche Bazaar is the perfect place to start acclimatizing for the Mt. Everest base camp height of 5364m. A rest day in Namche Bazaar is worthwhile, as there are several great walks you can take from Namche Bazaar, such as to Syangbuche for a magnificent view of Mt. Everest.

The trek to Everest base camp by famous Buddhist monastery, Tengboche, located high on a ridge offering spectacular 360 degree panoramic views of Mt. Everest, the Lhotse-Nuptse wall, Ama Dablam and Kantega. Tengboche is peaceful and spiritual, surely one of the most tranquil and inspiring places in the world.

Passing several more Buddhist monasteries, views of mount Everest become ever closer each day. This stunning trek includes a visit to Kalapatthar (5545m), a viewpoint recognized as the best vantage point to see Mt. Everest which is a premier goal for many trekkers in the Nepal Himalayas. After trekking to Everest base camp and Kalapatthar, we return at a leisurely pace to Namche Bazaar and Lukla for a return flight to Kathmandu.

More adventurous trekkers can extend their experience of the Khumbu region including: returning via the EBC Cho La Pass Gokyo valley  (5420m) and then ascending Gokyo Ri (5483m) and completing the EBC Cho La pas Renjo La (5417m), Everest three high passes trip and fit trekkers can attempt the summit of Imjatse Himal, also known as Island Peak (6179m).

In Nepal you can trek anywhere in any four seasons (Spring-Summer-Autumn / Fall or Winter), but the most popular trekking seasons are Spring and Autumn times. Autumn September- October- November

Summer is a good time for the keen botanists and forest researchers as the higher valleys and meadows blossom with flowers and lush vegetation. It is not generally recommended to trek during the summer season except in the arid rain shadow areas like Upper Mustang, Dolpo and Kailash. Nepal Himalaya will be in the grip of wet monsoon season starting from mid June to early September months, although morning are often clear for few hours for the views of sunrise and mountains, it can rain heavily almost every day, cloud hangs around by mid morning, with frequent rain and occasional thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening times.
