We either spend the day taking a day hike to Khunde or relaxing and exploring Namche Bazaar itself. Namche Bazzar is the main center of the Everest (Khumbu) region and has government offices, ATMs, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, a bakery, and a colorful market each Friday evening and Saturday. The trails easy in the begging up to Kyangjuma & climb steeply out of the valley through rhododendron forests, which give way to fragrant stands of juniper and large conifers as the elevation increases. This trek is especially beautiful in spring when the rhododendrons are blooming. The trails pass many Kharkas, summer settlements used when Sherpas bring herds of yaks to graze in these high pastures. The route passes through the settlement s of Tongba (3950m) and Gyele (3960m) to Dole where there're few hotels. You have an outstanding view of Khumbila and Tawache (6542m), Buddhist colorful prayer flags are incredible throughout the day!!

Today, your trek starts steeply and climbs to Lambara at (4220m) and Luza at (4360m). The tails are steep in most places as it climbs through brush junipers. There're Kharkas whenever there are a flat spot and the slightest hint of water. The trails continue to climb along the side of the valley, high above the river, crossing sandy spurs to Machhermo at (4410m). Here was in Machhermo in 1974 that Yeti killed three yaks and attacked a Sherpa woman. This is the most credit yeti incident ever reported overnight in lodge.

We climb a ridge for an excellent view both down the valley to Kantega and up towards Cho-Oyu (8201m). Beyond the ridge, the valley widens as the trail passes through Pangka at (4390m) then descends to the riverbank before the beginning of the climb on to the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa Glacier. It's a steep climb up the moraine, switch backing alongside the stream to the first small Lake at (4650m), where a family of green Brainy ducks resides. The trail now becomes almost level at (4690m) as it follows the valley past a second lake known as Tajun, finally, we walk up the path to Gokyo valley and it is a collection of stone houses and walled pasture on the shores a large lake known as a Dudh Pokhari overnight in lodge.

Rest day in Gokyo Valley is an outstanding opportunity. This acclimatization day is grasped as an opportunity to climb Gokyo Ri (5360m), during the sunset hours to enjoy the magnificent views of the Everest Region. Or, as we know Gokyo is not only popular for its grand view from Gokyo Peak but also for the six lakes which it hosts, definitely we would not miss the chance to observe the fourth lake (Thonak Tsho) and fifth lake (Ngozuma Tsho). About 3 km north of Gokyo is the fourth lake with its high cliffs and peaks rising above it. The trail continues to the fifth lake and we get mesmerized by the shimmering turquoise blue sheet of water. If interested, we climb on a hill at the edge of the Lakes to get amazing views of Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makulu. We can see a lot more from here - the spot is called Scoundrel's Viewpoint. Beyond the fifth Lakes is the Cho Oyu Base Camp. The scenery here is breathtaking with Cho Oyu and Gyachung Kang seeming just a stone's throw away. The northern part of the fifth lake provides fabulous views of Cho-Oyu Base Camp and the biggest glacier of the world- the Ngazumpa Glacier. Moved by the charm, we may even try to go sixth lake too but depends upon our own interest and time. Back to Gokyo village overnight in lodge.

The crossing of the Renjo La Pass will be exciting and challenging as we descend into remote northern Valley where access is restricted, and the landscape is progressively that of the Tibetan Valleys beyond the border. Views from Renjo La are much like that from Gokyo Ri with third Gokyo Lake and Gokyo Village beneath the gray smear of Ngozumpa Glacier. Continuing on from the past, the trail winds down a stone staircase and then scramble over loose scree to reach the south bank of a small lake, Angladumba Tsho. Presence of ice on the trail while descending down can make us descend a bit hazardous. Along the way we see Relama Tsho and Renjo Lake, today is a chance we will meet Tibetan Traders descending from the Nangpa La pass that leads through the Himalayas from Tibet with their caravans of woolly yaks laden with goods. We walk downhill through a narrow valley clogged with a massive rock to Lunde overnight in lodge.

It's perched on the side of a hill overlooking the valley. This is the site for the spring celebration of the Mani Rimdu festival, held about the middle of May each year, overnight in lodge.

After passing through a check post, we come to the world`s highest hydroelectric power station built on Austrian help. Then after, we reach the small village of Phurte where there is a Laudo monastery which is run by the Kopan monastery of Bouddhanath in Kathmandu and is popular among the westerners for Buddhist study and meditation center.
