Mountain bike ride around the Kathmandu Valley which takes you out of the city and to some of the best known hill stations on the Valley rim. From both Nagarkot and Chisapani the views of the Himalaya are simply breath-taking. Along route, the tour passes through the beautiful monastery at Namobuddha, the ancient town centres of Pauntie and Dhulikhel and explores the rich rural cultural of the Valley. The ride is a moderate one, with lots of up and down hill and requires a good level of fitness. The trails are mixed jeep track, single track, country roads and short sections on main road.

We will be staying at nice hotel throughout the trip. Nepal Spirit Adventure’s crew will arrange clean rooms with attached washrooms in guest house stay along the road trip. While we will be staying at teahouses we have to share washing and toilet facilities. Also note that single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and the trip regions.
All meals will be provided during ridding while only breakfast included in Kathmandu. While on road trip, we have breakfast and dinner in the tea-houses/lodges we spend the night and lunch on our way to the next destination. Drinking Alcohol during the trip is highly restricted.
Day 1Arrival at Kathmandu AirportAfter your arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, representative of Nepal Spirit Adventure will give warm welcome to all guests and they will be transfer to respective hotel. After some rest and refreshment, we will provide them briefing about the road trip details look up equipment required and introduction trip service included: Airport pick up and hotel.
Day 2Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city After breakfast you will taken for a whole day sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu city. The trip included exploring Hindu temples like: Pashupatinath temple, Buddhism monasteries like: Swyambhunath and Bauddha Stupa. Swyambhunath Stupa is located at hill top with altitude of 1384m (4542ft.). Bauddhanath Stupa is recorded as biggest Stupa in Nepal.
Day 3Ride to Chiso Pani (2195 m) The next morning, trip start to Chiso pani through forested trail with blooming of Rhododendrons in the spring. Chiso Pani is east-north side from Kathmandu valley. You can find adventure riding from Jhule to Jarsin Pauwa. You can also visit Magi Gompa on the way to Chiso Pani.
Day 4Ride to Nagarkot (2000 m) From Chiso Pani, you headed towards Nagarkot via the forested trail. Nagarkot is best place for viewing breathtaking peaceful environment surrounded by Himalaya peaks. You can see spectacular view of beautiful mountain peaks from top of the world Mount Everest to Annapurna.
Day 5Ride to Palanchowk Bhagawati The next day morning, you view glorious sun rise view from Nagarkot. Your exciting single track trail began from Palanchowk through rustic village to Bhagawati. Palanchowk Bhagawati is located on the top of the Palanchowk hill named after Bhagawati with the height of 1563 meters. The temple is connected by motorable road from Araniko Highway.
Day 6Ride to Dhulikhel (1600 m) On the track, you ride through Araniko Highway. At some point, you reach Dhulikhel which is getway road to Tibet and other eastern cities of Nepal.
Day 7Ride to Namo Bhuddha Early Morning we start our journey to Namo Buddha Monastery which is 10.8 km from Dhulikhel. You can view beautiful view of Ganesh Himal from Monastery. You return back to Dhulikhel for overnight stay.
Day 8Return back to Kathmandu Early Morning, we head back to Kathmandu either by Bus or other means of transport. Its 30 km from Dhulikhel to Thamel.
Day 9Departure from Kathmandu After wonderful time in Kathmandu road trip with grand service of Nepal Spirit Adventure, as per the flight time transfer to international airport for your departure homeward bound or next respective.

On arrival in Nepal at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International airport, our airport representative will pickup then transfer to your respective hotel. Afternoon or evening time we will review and discuss with much information regarding your trip itinerary and included / excluded services details.
Passport & Visa
All foreign nationals, except Indian citizens, need visas to enter Nepal. Nepalese visa can be obtained from Nepalese Embassy or consulate in your home country or it can also be obtained at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu upon your arrival. Most of our guests they take Nepal Visa after they arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport. To get Nepalese visa you should bring valid passport and two passport size photos. Breakfast is included in Kathmandu on tour package bases. Your daily meals are not included during the Kathmandu Mountain bike tour. You can get and select all types of foods belong to Nepali, Indian, Chienes and continental from menu in all the guest houses and tripical nepali resturant along the journey.
